Welcome to the Area Agency on Aging website. It is our hope that your needs will be met by visiting us today. Whether you need information about the services we provide, want to volunteer in your community, or just want to know more about our agency and staff, we’ve got it all right here for you. This website has been developed to provide you with the most current information about services and programs available in Southeast Arkansas.

The Area Agency is a non-profit agency that provides programs and services to assist with the many needs in the community. All Agency services are provided in Arkansas, Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Grant, Jefferson and Lincoln counties. Some services can also be found in Calhoun, Dallas, Lonoke and Union counties.

While we continue to serve the older population, we offer many services to persons of all ages, including home health, transportation and care management. When you contact the Area Agency for help, ask about the income and age rules for the services you need. Eligibility and payment options vary widely. Some services are available on a private pay option.
